Floor graphics test 7-11 stores
Test carried out by GFK ,a well-known and well accepted consumer research company.
Objectives
The primary objective was to measure whether adding floor graphics to a campaign would enhance the impact of the campaign.
The secondary objectives were to test whether people noticed the graphics and to evaluate the graphics resistance to wear.Test
The promotion campaign included a special offer and discount in 7-Eleven stores. Various types of promotional materials were used.
10 of the 7-Eleven stores used our floor graphics as part of the campaign in addition to the other P-O-P materials. EPOS-data was used to measure the sales impact.Key Results
7-Eleven measured how many of the customers actually purchased the advertised product.
5.2% of the customers purchased the offer in the control stores, compared with 6.1% in the test stores where our floor graphics were used. This means that the addition of our floor graphics increased the impact of the campaign by 17% (on the base figure 5.2%). The fact that the floor graphics were used in the largest stores means that that actual quantity sold improved even more.The test showed that despite thousands or people walking over the graphics and daily cleaning, the graphics were extremely resistant to wear and retained good image quality.

“We spent a lot of time looking at people and at least 50% of all customers noticed the graphics. We will definitely consider using your floor graphics again” says Mr. Isdahl, Marketing manager and responsible for the campaign.The shop staff were pleased with the sales and recommended the method of advertising.
